Closed parks: Cattai National Park partial closed due flood damage – Mitchell Park open
Cattai National Park is closed from 8 April 2024 to 24 May 2024 due to flood damage. Penalties apply for non-compliance.
Open :- Mitchell Park picnic area and most walking trails are open as per normal operating hours. Creek Flat Track remains closed due to flood damage.
Remember, it’s never safe to drive, ride or walk through flood waters. Roads into and throughout the park are / may also be closed. Check Live Traffic NSW for up-to-date information and contact the local park office.

Closed areas: Closed for ground pest control operations
Mitchell Park is closed due to pest animal control shooting operations.
Shooting operations will occur on select nights throughout this period, excluding weekends and public holidays. The operations will run from sunset to sunrise, where the park will be closed for public access.
