Getting there
Closest point to drive and park is on all weather unsealed roads, from there it is via the water to this the campsite GPS: -30.64988, 150.8529 The campsite is signposted and can be found on the southern border of the park, about 35km NE of Manilla on the Namoi River. Drive along the Namoi River Rd.
You will need to walk a short distance from your car to the campsite – no caravans or camper trailers Plenty of walking, swimming and fishing in the area.

Other planned events: Notice of 1080 Aerial Baiting Program
NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting an aerial baiting program from Monday 12 May 2025 to Friday 23 May 2025. The operation will use 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of feral animals including wild dogs and foxes.
The program will take place in Avondale State Conservation Area (SCA), Back River Nature Reserve (NR), Booralong NR, Bulagaranda (Mt Yarrowyck) Aboriginal Area (AA), Cottan-Bimbang National Park (NP) & SCA, Curracubundi NP, Indwarra NP, Mummel Gulf NP & SCA, Ngulin NR, Nowendoc NP, Oxley Wild Rivers NP & SCA, Single NP, The Basin NR, Tomalla NR, Tuggolo Creek NR, Warrabah NP and Werrikimbe NP.
The program is designed to minimise predator impacts on wildlife, especially threatened species, and to minimise the impact of wild dogs on neighbouring stock.
Signs will be placed at the entry to the baiting location. Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW National Parks managed lands. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.
