Bungonia camping ground
This is a large campground with camp-kitchen and indoor eating areas. It is well-known as a base for caving and canyoning. There is also plenty of bushwalking. The friendly rangers are often around to lend a helpful hand.
People who go bushwalking or other adventurous activities are to register their intentions with the rangers. This is a great safety initiative.
There is little water at the campsite, please bring your own drinking water. Food and other supplies can be bought in Marulan or Goulburn.
Off peak rates are .00 per night (adult) and .50 per night (child). These reduced rates apply from the end of the April/May NSW school holidays to the start of the September NSW school holidays. Full rates apply during the July school holidays and any long weekends during that period. The office is usually staffed Mondays to Thursdays and various times over the weekend.
Adams Lookout and David Reid picnic areas have free gas BBQs.
