Budds Mare campground

The campsite is on the edge of the tablelands. The short walk to the lookout gives great views beyond the Apsley River, and there is also a walking track down to the river.

Getting there
Closest point to drive and park is by 4wd roads only, from there it is via the water to this the campsite GPS: -30.98257, 151.96893 Access to the campsite is signposted via Moona Plains Road (found along Winterbourne Road) about 44km east of Walcha.
You will need to walk a short distance from your car to the campsite – no caravans or camper trailers The campsite is on the edge of the tablelands. The short walk to the lookout gives great views beyond the Apsley River, and there is also a walking track down to the river.
