Mirang Pool camping ground
This campsite is nestled in Heathcote National Park with walk-in access from Heathcote Station. The campsite is near Mirang Pool on Heathcote Creek, and there is a signpost at the top of the stairs leading down to the pools from the management trail above. There are no facilities provided at the campsite.

Pipeline fire trail has suffered some damage from the April 2024 flood event, resulting in deep rutting to the trail surface in some locations.
Pedestrians and Cyclists should use caution when tracking over these surfaces.
Care should be taken after heavy rain at all creek crossing and causeway points along this trail as water flows very fast and deep.
Safety alerts: Lower Pipeline fire trail
Lower Pipeline fire trail has suffered some damage from the April 2024 flood event, resulting in a minor landslide, taking out part of the fire trail itself.
Authorised Vehicles should avoid the area.
Pedestrians and Cyclists are not permitted to pass the landslip, they should avoid using the trail until a geotechnical assessment is undertaken.
Closed areas: Lake Toolooma Fire Trail Closed due to sink hole
Lake Toolooma Fire Trail is closed to Pedestrians and Vehicles, north of Tooloma Dam due to a large sink hole at Waterfall Gully.
Visitors are reminded not to continue walking past Tooloma Dam.
The section of the track will reopen when it is safe to do so. Penalties apply for non-compliance.
