Getting there
Closest point to drive and park is on all weather unsealed roads, from there it is via the water to this the campsite GPS: -31.14776, 152.21624 The campsite is at the eastern end of Mooraback Road, about 85km SE of Walcha. Drive along the Oxley Highway and turn onto Kangaroo Flat Road, and then (quite some time later) veer right onto Mooraback Road.
You can park a trailer, or a tent in this campground – but no caravans There are plenty of platypuses in the Hastings River, and visitors can explore the short walks in the area.
