Getting there
Closest point to drive and park is on all weather unsealed roads, from there it is via the water to this the campsite GPS: -32.98, 151.0134 Drive along Yango Creek Road, then Upper Yango Creek Road. The campground is along the Finchley Track.
You will need to walk a short distance from your car to the campsite – no caravans or camper trailers You will need to carry in your own water.

Roads in Yengo National Park are currently not suitable for 2WD vehicles, 4WD is highly recommended. Roads are rough and eroded due to recent May flooding event. Take care and drive safely.

Other planned events: Notice of 1080 aerial baiting program
W National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting an aerial baiting program in Dharug National Park (NP), Koolewong Flora Reserve (FR), Manobalai Nature Reserve (NR), Parr State Conservation Area (SCA), Wollemi FR, Wollemi SCA, Yengo NP from Monday 19th May – Sunday 1st June 2025.
The operation will use 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of wild dogs and foxes.
The program is designed to minimise predator impacts on wildlife, especially threatened species, and to minimise the impact of wild dogs on neighbouring stock.
Signs will be placed at the entry to the baiting location. Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW National Parks managed lands. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.
