Expect short delays on roads in South East Forest National Park from Monday 30 September 2024 to Friday 28 February 2025. Roadworks will be underway. Drive safely and follow the directions of roadwork signs, contractors and NPWS staff.

Other planned events: Notice of 1080 ongoing baiting program
NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting an ongoing ground baiting program from Monday 30 September 2024 to Monday 31 March 2025 . The operation will use 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) poison for the control of wild dogs and/or foxes.
The program will take place in:

- Berlang State Conservation Area
- Bondi Gulf Nature Reserve
- Bournda National Park
- Bournda Nature Reserve
- Coolumbooka Nature Reserve

Signs will be placed at the entry to baiting locations. Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW National Parks managed lands.
Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs must be restrained or muzzled in the vicinity and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.

Closed areas: Yankee Gap Fire Trail closure
The following areas are closed from 12/6/2024 to 31/12/2024 due to flood damaged bridges on:
- Yankee Gap Fire Trail.

Kanoonah Road in Coolangubra section of South East Forests National Park is closed from Myanba Falls Road through to the northern park boundary due to a major landslip.
